The battery replacement device comprises a flat car (8) for operation of a coal mine, a plurality of telescopic cylinders (3) fixed to the flat car (8) and a battery rack (10) arranged on telescopic rods of the telescopic cylinders (3). The battery rack (10) is used for containing batteries, and the placement faces of the batteries are arranged in the horizontal direction. The telescopic cylinders (3) are arranged in the vertical direction, the telescopic rods are upward, and the telescopic cylinders (3) can drive the battery rack (10) to ascend or descend. According to the battery replacement device of the storage battery rail crane, the problem that battery replacement of a storage battery rail crane is inconvenient is effectively solved.
