Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a starch sponge haemostatic material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out inactivation and virus removal treatment on starch; (2) carrying out modification on the starch after inactivation and virus removal; and (3) carrying out vacuum freeze-drying on the modified starch so as to obtain a finished sponge product. The haemostatic material and the preparation method disclosed by the invention have the beneficial effects that the starch haemostatic material prepared by the method has the advantages of being free from bacterial endotoxin, free from heat resource, rapid in haemostasis, degradable and absorbable, good in biocompatibility and the like; and the preparation method is stable in preparation technology, free from pollution during preparing, free from hazard emission and extensive in application prospect.
