The sterilization mop for cleaning is structurally characterized in that the mop comprises a mop board, a handle, a light emitting diode (LED) module and a control part, wherein the mop board comprises a housing and a light guide board, receiving space with the bottom part being open is formed in the housing, the light guide board is installed in the receiving space in a sealed state, the handle comprises a main rod and an auxiliary rod, the main rod is connected with the center of an upper end of the mop board through a multi-joint connection rod, the auxiliary rod selectively extends in the main rod, the LED module comprises a substrate and a plurality of LEDs, the substrate is disposed inside the mop board, the LEDs let out sterilization wave length on the substrate by using the light guide board, the control part comprises a battery and an operating panel, the battery is used for powering up the LED module through the mop board, and the operating panel is used for operation. Therefore, the mop provided by the present invention has a sterilization function, and also has effects of saving costs by simplifying the structure of the mop, seeking price competitiveness by shortening processes, and being easy for cleaning because of the light weight.
