The invention discloses a cutting propagation method of birthwort. The cutting propagation method comprises the following steps of: step I, making cutting slips of the birthwort; step II, immersing the bases of the cutting slips into an aqueous solution of a rooting agent, soaking the bases of the cutting slips for 30-60 minutes, taking out the bases, and drying the taken bases in shade for standby application; and step III, cutting the cutting slips processed in the step II into substrates, culturing the cutting slips for 30-35 days, and transplanting the cultured cutting slips.
