The television and computer integrated machine comprises a television (TV) mainboard and a computer mainboard, wherein a network card is arranged in the computer mainboard and used for awakening the computer mainboard when receiving a startup instruction; the computer mainboard is used for controlling the TV mainboard to be started up after being electrified to be started up; and when receiving a shutdown instruction, the network card transmits the shutdown instruction to the TV mainboard, and the TV mainboard controls the computer mainboard to be shut down according to the shutdown instruction and then is shut down. Therefore, the remote startup and shutdown control of the TV and computer integrated machine can be realized and great convenience is brought for remote control by a user.
