The baby chicks are hatched by using heated sea sand, wherein 0.02 percent by weight of a potassium permanganate solution is sprayed onto the sea sand to sterilize the sea sand before the sea sand is used, so that the sea sand is at a constant temperature of 32 to 34 DEG C, and the humidity is 72 to 85 percent. According to the method for improving the hatching rate of the baby chicks, the baby chicks are hatched by using the sea sand, and the hatching survival rate can exceed 85 percent.
