The invention discloses an air conditioner and an air guide control method thereof, wherein the air guide control method comprises the following steps: after the air conditioner is started, controlling an air guide bar of the air conditioner to carry out initialization; judging an operation mode of the air conditioner, and obtaining an air guide angle of the air guide bar when the air conditioner operates in the corresponding operation mode at the last time; judging whether the air guide angle of the air guide bar is regulated or not; if the air guide bar is not regulated, controlling the air guide bar to operate to the air guide angle of the air guide bar when the air conditioner operates in the corresponding operation mode at the last time; and if the air guide bar is regulated, storing the current air guide angle of the air guide bar to replace the air guide angle of the air guide bar when the air conditioner operates in the corresponding operation mode at the last time. According to the air conditioner and the air guide control method disclosed by the invention, after the air conditioner is started, the optical air outlet angle set by a user at the last time is automatically regulated to meet the user needs; and complex work of regulating can be avoided, so that the air guide control method is more user-friendly and more convenient.
