The light-color and low-odor sulphurized modified fatty acid additive is characterized in that the chemical structural formula of the additive is as shown in the specification, wherein R1 and R2 are residues of fatty acid as shown in the specification. The additive is light in color and low in odor, can be well dissolved in vegetable oil with good biological degradability, and is a green and environment-friendly additive. Compared with a traditional sulphurized fatty acid additive, the additive has higher abrasion resistance, friction resistance and bearing performance, so that the tribology performance of the additive is improved after boron and nitrogen elements are added in molecules through tests.
