System and method for determining GSM Refarming buffer zone

The invention relates to a system and a method for determining a GSM Refarming buffer zone. The system comprises a network side data analysis system and a test system. The network side data analysis system is used for locating a practical signal coverage condition of each base station in the zone and analyzing a condition data parameter and determining quantity of the base station in the buffer zone; the test system is used for generating a dotting image and a distribution curve after processing the data and determining the GSM Refarming buffer zone. The system of the invention can rationally determine the buffer zone under the condition of ensuring GSM network coverage and network performance after GSM Refarming distributes a portion of frequencies in certain range. The test system can rationally determine the range of the buffer zone, reduces the interference between an inner ring LTE and an outer ring GSM system, and improve frequency spectrum utilization efficiency. By combining the network side data analysis system with the test system, the system and the method of the invention can determine the quantity of the buffer zone more accurately.
