Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a composite material and a preparation method thereof. The composite material is an interpenetrating network composite material prepared from maleic anhydride based polymer, epoxypropane and carbon dioxide under the existence of catalysts. The molar ratio of maleic anhydride structural units in the epoxypropane to maleic anhydride structural units in the maleic anhydride based polymer is 100:0.01-5. The maleic anhydride based polymer is maleic anhydride homopolymer or maleic anhydride copolymer. The maleic anhydride copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing maleic anhydride monomers and vinyl comonomers. The composite material has good quality and economical efficiency. The preparation method is high in efficiency, excellent in effect and especially suitable for industrial production.
