The novel tool box is characterized by further comprising a pull-down support (2); the two side faces of the box body (1) are both fixedly provided with an insert pin (3); each insert pin (3) comprises an operation handle (5); each operation handle (5) is connected with a steel core (8); each steel core (8) is sleeved with a circular ring (7); each circular ring (7) is connected with the corresponding circular operation handle (5) through a spring (6); the circular rings (7) are fixed to the two side faces of the box body (1); the two sides of the pull-down support (2) are both provided with two tubular cross beams (4); the middle of each cross beam (4) is provided with an insert pin insert hole (9) with the diameter matched with the opening diameter of the corresponding insert pin; the box body (1) and the pull-down support (2) are in sliding connection through a slide way in the box body (1) and are fixed after the steel cores (8) of the insert pins (3) are inserted into the insert pin insert holes (9). The novel tool box with the heightening function is simple in structure, convenient to carry and use, firm and stable, increases mechanical strength and improves working efficiency.
