Interpolation method and corresponding device

The invention relates to a method for interpolating a first block of pixels (20) to a second block of pixels (200) comprising a number of pixels greater than the number of pixels of the first block (20). The method comprises a step of determining second values to be associated with the interpolated pixels (202, 203, 206, 211, 216, 220, 221, 225, 227, 228, 229) of the second block (200) from a plane passing through three pixels of a block of four pixels comprising a pixel whose associated (disparity or grey level) value is unknown and from the coordinates of the interpolated pixels in the second block (200). The invention also relates to a corresponding interpolation module and the computer program product implementing the interpolation method in a computer.
