Zusammenfassung:Provided are a packaging unit and a storage method or the like that allow the oxygen-absorbing performance of an oxygen-absorbent multilayer article containing a readily oxidizable thermoplastic resin and a transition metal catalyst to be maintained during long-term storage. This packaging unit for an oxygen-absorbent multilayer article is obtained by sealing, in a container having gas barrier properties, (A) an oxygen-absorbent multilayer article provided with at least a barrier layer containing a thermoplastic resin, and an oxygen-absorbent layer comprising an oxygen-absorbent resin composition that contains a readily oxidizable thermoplastic resin and a transition metal catalyst, and (B) a gas having a carbon dioxide concentration of 0.1 to 100 vol%.
