The invention provides a special-purpose operating head for dismounting foreign matters in a live-line way, which belongs to the fields of overhead line or cable maintaining, repairing equipment or methods. The special-purpose operating head is provided to solve problems in the prior art that foreign matters of conductors and ground wires are manually cleared; thus low clearing efficiency, high risks and low automation degrees are generated. The special-purpose operating head comprises a support. The bottom of the support is a connecting end. The upper part of the support is fixedly provided with a gear A. The lower part of the support is fixedly provided with a gear B. The gear A and the gear B are connected through a conveying device. The outer surface of the conveying device is fixedly provided with cleaning heads. The axle of the gear B is connected with the output shaft of a motor. The operating head further comprises a containing box. A separator plate is arranged inside the containing box. A vertical channel for allowing the cleaning heads to pass through is arranged on the separator plate. The two sides of the channel are provided with discharging heads. The operating head achieves a high automation degree. Collected foreign matters can directly enter the containing box. After operations are finished, the foreign matters can be cleared together. The danger caused by direct operations of workers can be lowered.
