Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a heat exchange device for exchanging heat between two fluids circulating through insulated conduits. In the preferred example the first fluid is a hot gas originating from an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, and the second fluid is a coolant liquid used for removing heat from the hot gas. The device according to the invention has a simple and cheap construction, lacking a shell, formed by a plurality of extruded aluminum profile segments attached by clad plates arranged perpendicularly giving rise to a very compact and light-weight configuration when it is in an operating mode.
