Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a display panel and a manufacturing method of the display panel. The display panel comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a pixel array area and a sealing part, wherein the first substrate is provided with at least one first edge; the second substrate is opposite to the first substrate; the pixel array area is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate and is provided with at least one second edge partially overlapped with the first edges; the pixel array area comprises a display area with at least one third edge corresponding to the second edges. The sealing part is annularly arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate and corresponds to the periphery of the display area. The sealing part is provided with at least one side, and part of the sides is located in the pixel array area. By means of the display panel and the manufacturing method of the display panel, panels of different dimensions can be manufactured according to the customization requirements, and the problems that pollution is caused and reliability is reduced as liquid crystals flow out can be avoided.
