The invention discloses a piston type float collar float shoe which comprises a body and an internal valve. The internal valve is hollow to form an inner cavity, the bottom of the internal valve is closed by a hole plate, and liquid drainage holes are formed in the hole plate; the upper section of the internal valve is connected with the body in a sealed mode, and the outer diameter of the lower section of the internal valve is smaller than the inner diameter of the body; the diameter of the inner cavity in the lower section of the internal valve is smaller than the diameter of the inner cavity in the upper section of the internal valve at the joint of the upper section and the lower section of the internal valve; a piston which can freely slide is arranged in the inner cavity in the lower section of the internal valve, the piston is connected with the inner cavity in a sealed mode, and a spring is arranged between the piston and the hole plate; the upper side edge of the piston is provided with an annular protrusion; an annular groove containing the annular protrusion is correspondingly formed in the top of the inner cavity in the lower section of the internal valve; an axial seal device is arranged in the annular groove; multiple circulation holes are formed in the position, close to the joint of the lower section and the upper section of the internal valve, of the lower section of the internal valve in the circumferential direction of the lower section of the internal valve; when the piston is closed, the circulation holes are closed. According to the piston type float collar float shoe, a seal element is hidden outside a slurry circulation channel so that the seal element cannot be washed, and therefore the service life of the float collar float shoe is significantly prolonged.
