Air-blast quenching device used for rail ends of heavy rails

The invention relates in particular to an air-blast quenching device used for rail ends of heavy rails. The air-blast quenching device is characterized in that an upper ejection plate of a cooling device (2) is fixedly connected with a cross beam at the upper part a support (1) by a mounting plate (5); a cooling air inlet pipe (3) is vertically mounted in a central position of the upper ejection plate of the cooling device (2), and is equipped with a solenoid valve (4); an indented arc cold-blast outlet is formed at the bottom of the cooling device (2); an indented arc thin plate (14) is mounted at the indented arc cold-blast outlet; a balance plate (10) is horizontally fixed in the middle of the cooling device (2); a guide plate (9) is horizontally mounted above the balance plate (10); and an air direction adjusting device (11) is horizontally mounted between the balance plate (10) and the indented arc cold-blast outlet. The air-blast quenching device has the advantages of simple structure and good integration. With the adoption of the air-blast quenching device, the air-blast quenching requirements of the rail ends of the heavy rails in different specifications can be met, and the rail ends of the heavy rails can be cooled uniformly.
