Edge connector

The invention provides an edge connector which can restrain the rise of the resistance value even in the environment of temperature change. The edge connector (10) comprises a plurality of contact terminals (23) and an outer shell (16) used for accommodating the contact terminals (23). The contact terminals are connected to a substrate (12) provided with a plurality of edge terminals (13). The outer shell (16) has a linear expansion coefficient the same as or similar to the linear expansion coefficient of the substrate (12). Thus, even the environment temperature changes, the expansion distance of the substrate (12) is the same as or basically the same as that of the outer shell (16), so that the sliding on the condition that the edge terminals (13) formed on the substrate (12) and the contact terminals (23) accommodated in the outer shell (16) are in contact can be restrained.
