The water ring type cleaning device of the toilet bowl is characterized in that an annular channel is formed in the toilet bowl body and communicated with a water outlet of a water tank of the toilet bowl, a ball is arranged in the annular channel, the ball is pushed by water flow to slide in the annular channel, and a brushing device is connected to the ball and attached to the inner wall of the toilet bowl body. According to the water ring type cleaning device of the toilet bowl, the impact force, generated when the toilet bowl is flushed, of water flow is utilized for driving the ball which is arranged in the annular channel and a rubber strip and a bristle strip which are connected with the ball to automatically brush the inner wall of the toilet bowl, and therefore water scales and urine scales are prevented from being formed on the inner wall of the toilet bowl. The water ring type cleaning device of the toilet bowl has the advantages of saving energy and being environmentally friendly and free of manual operation.
