According to the method, emulsion AC-200, emulsion AC-268, a dispersing agent, nano-silica, organic acid, silica powder, corrosion remover, a thickening agent, an antifoaming agent, coalescing agents and deionized water are used as raw materials for preparing the water-based thick-coated carpentry transparent base paint. The invention further provides the preparation method for the water-based thick-coated carpentry transparent base paint. According to the water-based thick-coated carpentry transparent base paint and the preparation method thereof, a paint film provided by the method is fast in drying speed and easy to polish, the polishing can be finished in one hour, and one-time thick coating can be achieved, and the manual work is reduced.
