The invention discloses a gel agent used for a vagina and containing total coptis alkaloids. The gel agent is prepared by mixing the following raw material components in percentage by mass: 6 percent to 24 percent of coptis alkaloids, 0.05 percent to 30 percent of a gel substrate, 0.5 percent to 45 percent of a moisturizer and the balance of a pH buffer solution. Preferably, the invention further provides an in-situ gel agent used for the vagina and containing total coptis alkaloids. The in-situ gel agent is prepared by mixing the following raw material components in percentage by mass: 3 percent to 12 percent of total coptis alkaloids, 1 percent to 4 percent of cnidium lactone, 1 percent to 4 percent of aloe polysaccharides, 1 percent to 4 percent of total flavonoids from hedyotis diffusa willd, 0.05 percent to 50 percent of an in-situ gel substrate, 0.5 percent to 21 percent of the moisturizer and the balance of the pH buffer solution. The gel agent as a drug for local application enables the drug effect to focus on the local part of the vagina, so that the first-pass effect and the liver and kidney toxicity caused by an oral drug are avoided, the residence time of the drug in the vagina is also prolonged, and the purpose of improving the treatment effect is achieved.
