Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a high efficiency counter flow cooling tower for reducing white smoke and power consumption and a control method for the same. The present invention comprises a dry heat exchange part (40c) which is partitioned into an upper dry heat exchange part (40a), and a lower dry heat exchange part (40b) stepped down from the upper dry heat exchange part (40a) for a predetermined level; an exhaust bypass flow channel (16); a bypassing exhaust opening and closing part; and a control part (100). Therefore, the present invention improves heat exchange efficiency by enlarging a heat exchange area without an increase in exhaust flow resistance of the dry heat exchange part for reducing white lead by heating saturated humid air exhaust; and effectively controls a wet cooling operation, a white smoke reducing operation, a dry cooling operation, and a cooled high temperature fluid bypass flow operation.
