With the adoption of the method and the device, when the vehicle has the alarm event, the specific alarm information and the current position information of the vehicle can be notified to a user or the vehicle monitoring server timely via telecommunication, and the user or the vehicle monitoring server can timely adopt measures to prevent the vehicle from being pilfered.
