The invention relates to an automatic vision detection device. The automatic vision detection device comprises a character displaying module and a key module, wherein the character displaying module comprises a CPU control unit, a wireless receiving unit, a displaying module, a voice broadcast module and a power module; the key module is provided with direction keys and a wireless sending device; the CPU control unit sequentially and randomly generates E signals in different directions to be transmitted to the displaying module according to the vision levels of a visual chart; the key module sends the characters input by a tester to the CPU control unit through connection of the wireless sending device and the wireless receiving device and compares the characters with E signals on the displaying modules; the CPU control unit generates a next E signal according to the comparison result or controls the voice broadcast module to broadcast the vision level. The tester can finish the vision detection by itself without guidance of medical staff, the workloads of medical staff are reduced, and the testing efficiency is improved.
