Disk filter

The invention relates to a disk filter for separating liquids from a suspension (1), in particular a fiber suspension, comprising a container (2) for receiving the suspension (1), a rotatably mounted hollow shaft (4) which extends horizontally in the container (2), and multiple filter disks (3) which are fixed on the hollow shaft (4) and which are axially spaced from one another. The filter disks (3) consist of multiple separate semicircular filter sectors (6). The hollow shaft (4) has multiple separate channels (7), and the channels (7) are connected to different filter sectors (6), some of the channels (7) being connected to a vacuum source. The structural complexity is to be reduced in that the channels (7), which rotate with the hollow shaft (4), open into a valve housing (8) at least one shaft end, said valve housing being equipped with at least one non-rotating vacuum valve (9) which is connected to a vacuum source and which covers at least one channel opening that changes while the hollow shaft (4) rotates. The connection between the channel opening and the vacuum valve (9) is sealed from the valve housing (8).
