Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a vibration damper (10) for a sensor unit (1) having an elastic damping element (20), and to an associated sensor unit (1) having such a vibration damper (10). According to the invention, the damping element (20) has a central plate (22), a plurality of damping fingers (24) which are connected, at one end, to the central plate (22), and a plurality of fastening surfaces (22.1, 24.2), wherein at least two fastening surfaces (22.1, 24.2) are arranged at a distance from one another in a first spatial direction (z), wherein the damping element (20) is soft in a flexurally elastic manner along the first spatial direction (z) and has higher rigidity in a main extension plane (x-y) arranged perpendicular to the first spatial direction (z), wherein an adhesive layer (12, 14) is applied in each case to the at least two fastening surfaces (22.1, 24.2), which layers are subjected to shear stress as a result of vibrations in the main extension plane (x-y) of the damping element (20).
