The invention provides an irresistible and addictive flavor specific to mayonnaise. A mayonnaise-like food comprising 0.1 to 1.5 mass% of acetic acid and egg-yolk and having a viscosity of 50 to 500 Pa.s, said food additionally containing 2,3,5-trimethyl pyrazine and furfural.
