Neighbor relation determining method and apparatus

The invention provides a neighbor relation determining method and an apparatus. The method comprises the step of acquiring network information of a zone to be detected. The zone to be detected comprises a first community of a first communication system and a second community of a second communication system. The network information comprises configuration information and signal strength information of the first community and the second community. The method further comprises the steps of making the first community and the second community related as candidate neighbors when the signal strength of the first community is greater than a first preset threshold and the signal strength of the second community is greater than a second preset threshold; and determining whether a neighbor relation can be established on the first community and the second community by processing the candidate neighbor relations through the configuration information of the first community and the second community. The neighbor relation in the zone to the detected can be automatically confirmed. The manpower cost is thus reduced.
