Infrared multi-point touch device and method

The invention relates to an infrared multi-point touch device and method. The device comprises a substrate, an infrared range finder, an optical mechanism and a controller, wherein the infrared range finder is used for transmitting infrared rays used for range finding; the optical mechanism is arranged on the optical path of the infrared rays transmitted by the infrared range finder and can change the spreading direction of the infrared rays to enable the infrared rays to be transmitted towards the substrate and scan the substrate; the controller is connected with the infrared range finder and the optical mechanism and is used for controlling the infrared range finder and the optical mechanism. The infrared multi-point touch device and method can detect multiple touch points to realize multi-point touch by detecting the positions of the touch points through the spreading direction and range of the infrared rays and changing the spreading direction of the infrared rays to scan the entire substrate, and the method can realize multi-point touch by a simple means at a lower cost.
