The invention discloses a method for verifying insulation abnormality and a quality defect of an internal conductor of an air reactor. The method comprises the following steps: recording a voltage value and a partial discharge valve when initial partial discharge is generated by the partial discharge measurement on the dry type air reactor, and judging whether the internal conductor of the dry type air reactor has the insulation abnormality and the quality defect according to the difference by comparing the voltage value and the partial discharge value when the reactor wound by a normal electromagnetic wire generates the partial discharge. The method can be used for effectively verifying the insulation abnormality and the quality defect of the internal conductor after the production of the air reactor so as to guarantee the product quality of the air reactor.
