The invention discloses dacron and cotton blending segment colorful yarn. The raw material weight proportion is 65%-95% of a cotton fiber and 5%-35% of a dacron fiber; a part of at least one kind of the cotton fiber and the cotton fiber is a first color fiber, and a raw material fiber of the dacron and cotton blending segment colorful yarn is composed of the first color fiber and a second color fiber or is composed of the first color fiber and a natural color fiber which is not dyed; raw materials is spun into the segment colorful yarn through a spinning process, wherein the natural color fiber or the second color fiber serves as the trunk of the segment colorful yarn, and the first color fiber serves as a bamboo joint. The invention further discloses a machining method for the dacron and cotton blending segment colorful yarn; the segment colorful yarn combines the advantages of dacron and cotton, and a blending textile has the advantages that the elasticity and the abrasion resistance of the textile are good under a dry or a wet condition, the size is stable, and the shrinkage rate is small.
