Extendible dining table

The invention relates to an extendible dining table, belongs to daily necessaries and in particular relates to a table. The table further comprises a holder and a standby desk plate; desk legs are arranged at the four corners of the holder; guide grooves are symmetrically formed in the holder along the long edges, and rotating gears are arranged in the centers of the guide grooves; the desktop is composed of two symmetrical flat plates; guide rails are arranged on the lower side surfaces of the two flat plates to match with the guide grooves; racks are arranged on the guide rails of the two flat plates in a staggered manner; the racks are engaged with the gears, respectively; the racks drive the gears to rotate; the two flat plates extend towards the two sides; the standby desk plate is flatly laid in a blank space, so that the area of the whole desktop can be increased. The dining table is simple in structure; the volume of the whole table is not increased and the space occupied is not increased; due to the interaction of the gears and the racks, and the guide rails and the guide grooves, the two flat plates of the desktop are capable of extending towards the two sides; a blank space is cleared and the standby desk plate is flatly paved on the blank space, and therefore, the area of the desktop is increased to hold more meals.
