Zusammenfassung:	An electronic control device comprises a bus connection for connection to a bus line of a current-controlled bus, an evaluation device for sensing the current flowing through the bus connection in order to detect a digital message from a sensor connectable to the bus line, and a current controller for generating a predetermined current pulse through the bus connection in order to shift the sensor into a predetermined synchronisation state. The current controller is designed to control the current through the bus connection in such a manner that it corresponds to an operating current through the sensor.
