The invention discloses a feasibility determination system and a method for the application of a plastic steering oil tank to a vehicle steering system. The method comprises: acquiring a first test index of the plastic steering oil tank of the vehicle steering system in a specific test condition; acquiring a second test index of a metal steering oil tank of the vehicle steering system in the specific test condition; and determining whether the plastic steering oil tank can be applied to the vehicle steering system according to the first test index and the second test index. According to the feasibility determination system and the method, the accurate conclusion that whether the plastic steering oil tank can replace the metal steering oil tank can be drawn according to related test indexes of the plastic steering oil tank and the metal steering oil tank of the vehicle steering system.
