Two bottom edges (contact faces with a parachute canopy) and the bottom edge periphery of an omega-type sensor are polished, burrs on the sensor are removed, and ridges and burrs of the periphery of the sensor are removed by polishing. Because about 5000 kg pressure is applied during parachute packing, the maximum parachate-opening overload can reach 20 g, the soft canopy cloth and steel materials contact, and the super-thin parachute canopy material can be damaged even by the finest burrs. |
