Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method and an electronic device for selecting a waveform to release data towards a device driver. The method includes steps of: receiving data for display on a heat-affected display area controlled by the device driver, obtaining at least one temperature measurement (e.g., from one or more thermistors), selecting a waveform from a plurality of waveforms considering a temperature value and releasing the data towards the device driver under the selected waveform. The electronic device comprises a heat-affected display area and a pyrolytic graphite dissipation sheet positioned between the display area and a processor module for dissipating heat generated thereby. A method for verifying temperature conformity in the device comprises: receiving data for display on a heat-affected display area, obtaining at least one temperature measurement and, when a temperature value is outside of an operating range, locking access to the display area and, otherwise, releasing the data towards the device driver.
