Network data transmission management method and system

Disclosed are a network data transmission management method and a system. The method comprises dividing data information into a plurality of data blocks, calculating a characteristic value of each data block according to a preset algorithm, sending the characteristic values to a receiving device when a characteristic value dictionary contains the characteristic values of the data blocks, storing the characteristic values to the characteristic value dictionary and sending original data and the characteristic values of the data blocks together to the receiving device when the characteristic value dictionary does not contains the characteristic values of the data blocks, storing the original data and the characteristic values when the receiving device receives the original data and the characteristic values, and copying the original data, as original data of the data blocks, corresponding to the characteristic values when the receiving device only receives the characteristic values. In the network data transmission process, each repeatedly transmitted data block shares one original data, so the problem that, when the repeatedly transmitted data blocks occur during network data transmission, the original data of the data blocks need to be transmitted for multiple times and then a wide bandwidth is occupied is prevented.
