Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the technical field of emergency rescue illumination, in particular to a box type lamp which comprises a main lamp cap, a telescopic lamp rod and a box used for containing the main lamp cap and the telescopic lamp rod. One end of the telescopic lamp rod is arranged in the box, and the other end of the telescopic lamp rod is provided with the main lamp cap. The box is provided with a first opening used for storing the main lamp cap and the telescopic lamp rod. The first opening is provided with a first door sheet which is used for opening and closing the first opening. When the box type lamp is not used, the telescopic lamp rod and the main lamp cap can be placed in the box, and the lamp cap is protected by the box and protected against damage caused by impact of external matter.
