Tyre-changing machine

The tyre-changing machine for removing a bead-broken tyre from the rim of a wheel comprises: at least one bed for resting on the ground; at least one spindle which extends from the bed and on which is mountable a wheel having a rim and a tyre with a first flank and a second flank, the spindle being configured to tighten the rim on it so as to fix an imaginary axis of rotation of the wheel, with the first flank arranged in a distal position with respect to the bed and the second flank arranged in a proximal position with respect to the bed; and at least one demounting tool having a non-rolling contact surface able to contact and push the second flank(F2) in the direction of moving away from the bed until extracting the first flank from the rim, the spindle and the demounting tool being reciprocally movable along a direction substantially parallel to the axis with a stroke that extends between two ends, so as to push the tyre out of the rim during the stroke.
