Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a metal product surface cleaning method and a water-based cleaning agent adopted by method. The water-based cleaning agent is an aqueous solution composed of 1-10g/L of sodium hydroxide, 1-10g/L of sodium nitrate, 1-10g/L of sodium tripolyphosphate, 0.1-3g/L of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, 0.1-3g/L of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 0.01-3g/L of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, 1-5g/L of polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether and 1-5g/L of coconut oil fatty acid. The water-based cleaning agent has the advantages of good oil removal effect, small corrosion to the product surface, and small pollution of a raffinate obtained after cleaning to environment, and is especially suitable for stainless steel and other heavy metals, aluminum alloys and other light metals.
