Zusammenfassung:	Provided is rice transplanter capable of preventing damage caused by the situation when the soil preparation device is suddenly pushed up from a section that is in contact with the ground while the soil preparation device is working. The rice transplanter (1) is provided with a soil preparation device (20) for preparing headland soil. The soil preparation device (20) is supported so as to be capable of being raised and lowered with respect to a planting unit (4) via a support link mechanism (30) that is provided on the planting unit (4). The support link mechanism (30) comprises an operating lever (40) for raising and lowering the soil preparation device (20) via the support link mechanism (30). The operating lever (40) allows upward movement of the soil preparation device (20) that does not depend on operation of the operating lever (40).
