Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an inspection system (208) for inspecting container openings of containers (101), especially of preforms and bottles produced therefrom, comprising a camera (303) and a lighting device (309), the camera comprising at least one image recorder (306) and at least one objective (307), and the lighting device having at least one light source (312). The inspection system is located at a conveying path (203) for containers to be inspected and comprises an image evaluation and control device (305) to remove the containers which have been detected to be defective from the flow of conveyed containers by correspondingly controlling a redirecting device. The inspection system is characterized in that the objective is designed as a stereoscopic objective.
