A sealed cylindrical roller bearing for railway comprises: an inner ring provided with ribs along two axial ends; an outer ring arranged outside the inner ring, wherein an inner cavity is formed between the outer ring and the inner ring; a roller positioned in the inner cavity, wherein the roller can axially move with the outer ring relative to the inner ring; and an annular sealing cover for sealing the inner cavity along two sides of the axial direction of the inner cavity, wherein two axial ends of the annular sealing cover are respectively provided with an inner side periphery and an outer side periphery, the inner side periphery of the annular sealing cover is fixedly arranged on the outer ring, the outer side periphery of the annular sealing cover encircles the ribs and rotates relative to the ribs, and when the outer ring axially moves relative to the inner ring, the annular sealing cover can telescope, and the outer side periphery of the annular sealing cover does not axially move relative to the ribs. The problem of poor sealing effect during large axial displacement of present sealed cylindrical roller bearings for railway is solved in the invention.
