The invention relates to a crawler-type distribution centering device which is provided with a fixed rack; a middle bracket is arranged on the fixed rack; two movable brackets are respectively arranged at the two ends of the middle bracket; the middle bracket and the movable brackets are respectively connected with the fixed rack by hinges; each movable bracket is provided with a distribution centering mechanism; each distribution centering mechanism comprises a horizontal guide rail and a distribution centering crawler belt; the horizontal guide rails are arranged along the distribution direction; two driven wheels are respectively arranged at the two ends of the movable brackets; driving wheels which are matched with the driven wheels and are used for supporting the distribution centering crawler belts are arranged under the movable brackets; a detection probe used for monitoring the position of the side of fabric is arranged under each of the movable brackets; each detection probe is connected with the fixed rack by an adjustment mechanism. The crawler-type distribution centering device is provided with the middle bracket and the movable brackets, so that the cross section of the fabric is enabled to be flat; the distribution centering crawler belts are arranged, so that distribution and centering are realized at the same time; the crawler-type distribution centering device is long in correction stroke, the correction stroke is hardly limited by work environment, and the phenomenon of cluttering hair orientation can be avoided; the crawler-type distribution centering device is especially suitable for the condition with small tension.
