Method of preparing activated charcoal from waste dust removal cloth bag

The invention discloses a method of preparing activated charcoal from waste dust removal cloth bags, which includes following steps: (1) flapping, cutting and drying the waste dust removal cloth bags; (2) carbonizing the waste dust removal cloth bags in a muffle furnace at 500 DEG C for 2 h; (3) mixing the carbonization product with NaOH according to a mass ratio of 1:1; (4) feeding the mixture in a tubular resistance furnace to activate the mixture at 500-700 DEG C for 30-90 min; (5) cooling the activated mixture, and water-ashing and drying the activated mixture to obtain the activated charcoal. The activated charcoal is 17.57-19.18% in yield, is 1011.57-1451.77 mg/g in iodine adsorption value and is 366.50-395.38 in aniline adsorption value. The method achieve harmlessness and recycle of the waste dust removal cloth bags and is low in cost and high in yield in produced activated charcoal.
