Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a car starting power generator and a control device thereof. The car starting power generator comprises a three-phase motor with taps in the middles, a first inverter, a second inverter and a double-contact switch and is characterized in that when an engine starts, the three taps of the three-phase winding are suspended, the three cathode switch tubes or three anode switch tubes of a second bridge converter are on at the same time, and the tail ends of the three-phase wining are short circuited together. After the engine is started, the starting power generator is in a high-speed power generation state, the three middle taps of the three-phase winding are short circuited together by electromagnetic switches, and the operation of the starting power generator is equivalent to the operation of two three-phase power generators. By the car starting power generator, the flux-weakening speed expansion during motor high-speed operation can be effectively achieved.
