Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a method for preparing 2-alkoxy cyclohexanol. The 2-alkoxy cyclohexanol is shown in the formula 3, and the method comprises the steps that in the presence of a catalyst, alcohol shown in the formula 1 is in contact with alkoxy cyclohexanol shown in the formula 2, and a reaction product containing 2-alkoxy cyclohexanol shown in the formula 3 is obtained, wherein R is a C1-C18 alkyl. Through the method, on the premise that the use amount of the catalyst is small and the reaction condition is mild, the conversation rate of the cyclohexene oxide and the selectivity of 2-alkoxy cyclohexanol are improved.
