Projecting device

The invention provides a projecting device. The projecting device comprises a light source, a multi-section type color wheel unit, a switch and a control unit. The light source is used for projecting light rays. The multi-section type color wheel unit is arranged on a light path of the light rays and comprises a first color wheel and a second color wheel. The control unit is coupled to the light source, the multi-section type color wheel unit and the switch, and is used for controlling the multi-section type color wheel unit to be switched between a first position and a second position, so that the light rays projected by the light source are selectively projected to the first color wheel or the second color wheel. The switch is arranged opposite to the multi-section type color wheel unit, so that when the control unit controls the multi-section type color wheel unit to be switched between the first position and the second position, the switch is switched between a connected state and a disconnected state, and further the control unit determines whether the light rays are projected onto the first color wheel or the second color wheel by detecting the state of the switch.
