Method for testing optical property of fiber arrays

The invention relates to a method for testing the optical property of fiber arrays. The method comprises the steps of 1, coupling any channel of a normal 8-degree fiber array with any channel of a reverse 8-degree fiber array; 2, fixing the coupled normal 8-degree fiber array and reverse 8-degree fiber array with a clamp to form a fiber array test sample; 3, measuring the optical property of the fiber array test sample by means of a return loss test set with the fusion method or insertion method; 4, repeating step 1-3 to couple every channel of the normal 8-degree fiber array with the corresponding channel of the reverse 8-degree fiber array, and testing the optical property of the fiber array test sample obtained each time through coupling. By directly coupling each normal 8-degree fiber array with the corresponding reverse 8-degree fiber array, test errors are reduced, and test accuracy is improved.
